Charles Letourneau, FCAS, MAAA, ARM, AIS

Mr. Letourneau has over 30 years of experience in the P&C actuarial field and founded American Actuarial Consulting Group LLC after obtaining reserving, financial, ratemaking, and project expertise in all major P&C lines of business.

Prior to starting the firm, Mr. Letourneau served as a consulting actuary in Ernst & Young LLP's National Actuarial Services Group. Prior to joining E&Y, Mr. Letourneau was employed with three insurance companies where he was responsible for the loss reserving and ratemaking functions.

Mr. Letourneau received his Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from Laval University, Canada. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Mr. Letourneau also holds the designations of Associate in Risk Management and Associate in Insurance Services of the Insurance Institute of America.

Mr. Letourneau is an expert in loss reserving, ratemaking, reinsurance, financial reporting, audit of insurance companies, data review and compilation, and the review of reports and analyses prepared by other actuaries or insurance experts. As an expert witness, Mr. Letourneau has worked on insurance cases that involved loss reserving, claims, rates, policy coverage, insurance agents' standard of care, reinsurance, and actuarial malpractice.
